Cast on in multiples of 4

2nd and all even numbered rows: *k2, p1, k1*

Wide Rib

Cast on in multiples of 7
1st row: *k5, p2*
2nd row: k the k sts, p the p sts, exactly as stitches appear on needle.
Rep 2nd row as required.

Sloping Rib

Cast on in multiples of 4
1st row: *k2, p2*
2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th rows: work exactly as stitches appear on the needle.
3rd row: *k1, p2, k1*
5th row: *p2, k2*
7th row: *p1, k2, p1*
Rep 1st - 8th rows as required.

Wavy Rib

Cast on in multiples of 6
1st, 3rd and 5th rows: *p4, k2*
2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th rows: k the k sts, p the p sts, as they appear on the needle.
7th row: *p2, slip next 2 sts on to a cable needle and keep to back of work, k2, p2 from cable needle*.
Maintain p4, k2 ribbing, moving ribs to the right with each cabled pair.

Twisted Rib

Knit s for single rib but working into the back of each stitch.
