Cross Stitch

Multiple of 3 chs.
Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.

To work treble crochet (abbreviated tr), yo twice, insert hook in sc indicated, yo and pull up a loop (4 loops on hook), (yo and draw through 2 loops on hook) 3 times.

Row 2 (right side): Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn; work Cross Sts across to last sc, dc in last sc.

Row 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in first dc and in next tr, sc in next ch, (sc in next 2 tr and in next ch) across to last 2 sts, sc in next tr and in last dc.

Rep Rows 2 and 3 for pattern.

Post Stitch

Multiple of 2 plus 5 chs.
Row 1 (right side): Dc in fourth ch from hook (3 skipped chs count a first dc) in each ch across.

To work double crochet (abbreviated FPdc), yo, insert hook from front to back, around post of st indicated. yo and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook), (yo and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice.

To work Back Post double crochet (abbreviated BPdc), yo, insert hook from back to front around post of st indicated, yo and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook), (yo and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn; FPdc around next st, (BPdc around next st, FPdc around next st) across to last dc, dc in last dc

Rep Row 2 for pattern.

Popcorn Stitch

Multiple of 4 plus 2 chs.
Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.
To work popcorn, 4 sc in sc or sp indicated, drop loop from hook, insert hook in first sc of 4-sc group, hook dropped loop and draw through.

Row 2 (right side): Ch 1, turn; sc in first sc, * ch 1, skip next sc, work Popcorn in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next sc; repeat from * across.

Row 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in first sc and in next ch-1 sp, (ch 1, sc in next ch-1 sp) across to last sc, sc in last sc.

Row 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in first sc, ch 1, sc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, *work popcorn in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, sc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1; repeat from *across to last 2 sc, skip next sc, sc in last sc.
